The unusual Cross of Cravignon, said to appear as if it had been erected upside down, is traditionally regarded as a gathering place for the witches of the region.
According to local tradition, witches flew there at night while chanting:
The rhyme refers to a magical flight between Cravignon and the hamlet of Beaufromet, in Saint-Gildas-des-Bois
