In 1919, a boy named Harry Anderson reported seeing a troop of ugly, hairless, albino, gnome-like men marching along the side of Highway 25 in Barron County. They were seen wearing patchwork overalls and sang the following marching song:
"We won’t stop fighting till the end of the war, In Nineteen-Hundred and Ninety-Four. Sound off one two, Sound off three four, Detail one two three four. One two three four!"
As they have not been sighted since, we don't know for sure whether their war, whatever it was they were fighting, truly ended in 1994.
