The Ohdoh and the Nagumwasug

The ohdoh and the nagumwasug are two tribes of magical little people who are thought to protect the Stockbridge-Munsee reservation from supernatural harm.
The ohdoh were said to have originally been humans, but that they went underground during the Ice Age and evolved into a race of spirits resembling little men.
The nagumwasug, by contrast, have always been little spirit men. The nagumwasug are also said to be ugly, and to be so thin that they are 2D (and can thus turn invisible simply by turning sidways).
The ohdoh protect from supernatural evils that dwell underground, such as baykoks, akarees, and chenoos.
The nagumwasug, on the other hand, protect from supernatural evils that dwell in the sky and water.
